Who am I ?
The rent is due,
What`ll I do? What`ll I do?
The Banker be want`n his share.

Meg has a way they say
To earn some cash and save the day.
That I`ll do if I can.
Let me see if I can.
So on to eBay slowly I go
To sell some closet things.
What`ya know, what`ya know
It`s easy, smooth and nice.
Now lets see the path I`v tread.
My cash pot was filled with dust and air,
Only an old old penny laying there.
So to Meg`s domain I came
Up the penny went, bam, it sold!
A telescope was next, bam again, sold!
The buyer was so pleased (the seller more so)
To find the bargain he`d been dream`n for.
Then I found a carpet in a box.
To the list it went with bright clear shots
From my brand new digge-do camera
eBay cash made open to me.
I had some books in boxes stored
No room in my room for them there.
Open a store? An eBay Store?
Wow, could that be for me?
A store indeed I see
Is the way to go for me.
Now, A name, A name
What`ll I name the thing?
Oh well, RM-Books sounds good.
Listing, Listing, Listing.
3 cents a shot how can it be?
Oh wee, hee hee it`s nearly free.
But wait. I need an edge.
What can I do to look so good?
Learn some code, HTML you be,
Not so hard as I have heard.
And now my listings shine
With photos of each book.
I hope It draws another look
From the keen eyed shoppers here.
Now with camera hot in hand,
I mark up an HTML page description
Of every book I have and never read,
Turbo List them to my store and wait.
Quite a passage for this old old dog,
Who could, like others be moribund
Without a clue to the new young world
Of digits speeding here and there.
But eBay is the great bazaar
Open to all, opportunity for all.
It breaths fresh new life
Into sagging hearts and aging heads.
Now I spring to life each day
And rush to see what may be
Lurking there on eBay just for me.
A sale? A bargain? Oh my what fun.
